Free Lab Licenses for Schools: Expanding Access
As the challenges facing our landscapes grow more complex—from climate resilience to equitable public space—so too must the tools we use to understand and shape them. That’s why LANDAU Design+Technology is offering Free Land Kit Lab Licenses to accredited educational institutions. With a Lab License, schools receive access for up to 30 students, empowering faculty and students alike to engage with advanced computational design tools tailored specifically for landscape architecture.
Enable exploration of new approaches for the next generation.
This is more than a software giveaway—it’s a commitment to supporting the next generation of landscape thinkers and makers. Whether you’re running a design studio, leading research on landscape systems, or teaching fundamentals of digital design, Land Kit gives students a hands-on way to explore terrain modeling, planting strategies, and site planning workflows in Rhino and Grasshopper. We believe powerful, accessible tools can help prepare students to design a more resilient and beautiful world, launching impactful careers—and we’re here for that.
If you’re part of an academic institution and have permission to administer software to students, we invite you to request your Lab License and join a growing community of educators exploring the future of computational landscape design.
